Days alternate between highway driving and off-road excursions to remote viewpoints and villages. Accommodation is split between hotels in larger towns and camping in mountain settings. The route includes established stops at Besham, Chilas, and Karimabad, with a full-day exploration of Hunza Valley on day five.
