Northern Thailand Hilltribe Trek — Karen & Lahu Villages, 5 Days

Mae Taeng highlands jungle trek with Karen and Lahu homestays, 11km trekking day, bamboo forest and waterfall crossings

This five-day trek through the Mae Taeng highlands places you in the daily life of two distinct hilltribe communities: the Karen of Ban Pong Noi and the Lahu people of the upper villages. You'll walk approximately 11 kilometers on the main trekking day through bamboo forest, rice paddies, and river valleys, staying overnight with local families who prepare traditional meals and share their routines.
