A cable car ascent in Gulmarg reaches Khilangmarg, offering views of the surrounding mountains. The route follows the Lidder River valley into Pahalgam and returns through Sonmarg before departing from Srinagar. Throughout, accommodation is in houseboats or hotels, with private vehicle transfers and an English-speaking guide included.

A representative meets arrivals at Srinagar Airport or Railway Station and transfers to accommodation—either a hotel or deluxe houseboat on Dal Lake. The remainder of the day is unscheduled, allowing time to settle and view the lake.

2Mughal Gardens of SrinagarShalimar Bagh · Nishat Bagh

The day centers on Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh, two Mughal gardens. Both feature tiered terraces, formal fountains, and views across Dal Lake. Overnight remains on the houseboat.

3Srinagar to PahalgamSrinagar to Pahalgam · Pahalgam

The drive south from Srinagar follows through valleys and rivers. Pahalgam is an alpine meadow setting. Evening is free for rest.

4Gulmarg and the Gondola AscentGulmarg · Gulmarg Gondola

A drive northwest reaches Gulmarg, a high meadow. The Gulmarg Gondola cable car rises to Khilangmarg, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Overnight in Gulmarg.

5Return to SrinagarSrinagar · Dal Lake · local markets near the hotel

The return drive to Srinagar completes the journey. The afternoon is unscheduled; an optional Shikara ride on Dal Lake is available, or time may be spent in local markets near the hotel.
